Addiction

This series of images has to do with taboo subjects. This is a main focus in a lot of my work, though usually my work is humurous to a degree. As an artist working on this subject, I have chosen to take an indifferenced stance on drugs, alcohol, sex, violence, smoking, etc. I would rather draw neutral attention to these objects that are considered morally unnacceptable (even including one's love of money). All of these objects change a person, not necessarily for better or worse and my stance that it is up to individuals to make these choices for themselves. By putting these images on a black background, I refrain from putting a positive or negative connotation on the objects. The decision of whether or not something is acceptable is up to you as an individual.
