Color Resource Online and other things

  • Here is a link to the website that accompanies your book and has useful simulations for color theory (and other things): http://www.mhhe.com/ArtStudio/1/4/1/1.html Please look at these, they will help you to understand.

  • When you are strolling in nature for your project, please pay attention to light and colors. How does light effect the colors? How do colors change affecting each other? Think about these. Don't forget to take notes in your process books, as well as sketches, ideas, experiences, feelings, concept maps...

  • Upload one image from your walk.

  • Read Chapter 2 - Elements of Color. On the blog, I want you to point out crucial things about color theory (you don't need to say what this chapter is about-we all know it, give me what you understand and don't understand) . It could be a bulleted list if you wish. Also I want you to do some research and put up links to sites that are helpful in understanding color.
  • Finally, don't forget to put up your artist statement!
