The Element of Color
This was the most interesting chapter yet. It accurately explained how powerful color can be in a composition, when used correctly. I think that there were a lot of different explanations and examples of ways that color is used in everyday life, and also of the ways that color is portrayed through the human eye. That afterimage effect is cool, especially on Japser Johns' "Flag". Color has a considerable amount of influence in a composition. Ironically, though, I think that the most interesting color combination of all is black and white. Sometimes I feel like color cheapens a composition. That's probably just me, though...
