Artist Statement
I have been working with scanned food and photoshop to create a piece that reflects on how people respond to the tropism and natural urge to eat. I explored the results and consequences of overinduldgement of this natural desire where I discovered certain risks like genetics and diet ultimately lead to this disease that is today considered an epidemic. Through my piece I hope to take the blame off the victim of obesity and point more attention towards a toxic enviornment and genetic factors that are beyond control.
