I am interested in the threat humans pose on nature and themselves through the future driven attitude of our culture and fascination with technological advances. Constantly trees are being replaced by buildings especially in the state of Florida. In my work I use the horizon line as a symbol for the future or time. It is uncertain which horizon line is accurate in my work just like the future battle between nature and mankind's building construction has an uncertain outcome. Are we endangering ourselves by destroying our natural surroundings?
