nature

According to my dictionary, nature is considered "the phenomena of the physical world collectively....as opposed to humans or human creations." In this piece I struggled to figure out what I really considered to be "natural". I came to the conclusion that I believe everything is nature or natural (even if it's not in the stereotypical "pure" form that most believe it to be), simply because everything we have came from the Earth, including ourselves. Nature, to me, doesn't have to mean wild animals, rocks, forests, beaches, plants, or flowers. The traditional concept of natural vs. artificial is really just the separation of those things as opposed to anything being brought into the "humanized" world. I wanted to use a human body outline as the base, but replace the insides with what most people consider pure forms of nature. This shows both the relationship of humans as a part of nature, as well as human life separated into it's own world.
